The image went viral quickly, but it has also started a real conversation about what is appropriate for a mother of three.

One ardent defender of the 33-year-old businesswoman wrote, “I’m so completely disgusted by the women commenting hate on here, or commenting things about Jay, or isn’t she a mom of three ?! She’s a person !!! Not just a wife, not just a mother … when women give birth, it doesn’t mean they have to sit at home in a potato sack cooking and cleaning; it’s as if life is over once you’re a mom? I admire Kristin for being hard-working and beautiful, and her body looks amazing, and she should show it off if she wants to! The negativity is really disgusting, and believe me; she’s not losing sleep over any of it !!”

The media personality recently told Entertainment Tonight this about her split from the former athlete: “It was not an easy decision, obviously. It was something that I truly thought about every single day for over two years.”

The interview will air on Monday. She also told PEOPLE this week: “It didn’t happen overnight. We tried really, really hard for years and years. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever made.”
