The process for adding a new soldier to the Project L team has a detailed explanation. Still, perhaps most significantly, the most recent update revealed that Project L would turn into a free-to-play video game.

The game was revealed in 2019 under the codename “Project L,” There is currently little information available; Riot hasn’t even given a release window.

Illaoi has been playable in League of Legends for a long time. Still, Riot did offer a pretty extensive explanation of what’s required in bringing her to Project L in Monday’s update, and it’s interesting to read about how the company thinks about adapting a League character into a fighting game.

Project L’s designers are building the fighters’ looks for the game from the ground up, so they won’t be precisely like the League of Legends models. However, the studio promised that all champions would be easily identifiable.

Project L is still being worked on, according to Riot Games, although no release date has been announced. However, the team is already developing a competitive mode and other fighting game mechanics.

Juggernaut characters have a feel that falls between a grappler and a rushdown character, like if Zangief and Balrog from Street Fighter had a child. This entails heavy blows, heavy damage, and sluggish movement.

Before the year is over, according to Riot, the Project L team will provide another update. The developer released a game preview in November that included some gameplay clips.

One of Riot’s several League of Legends universe expansions, along with the popular Netflix series Arcane and a League of Legends RPG, is Project L.
