With The Developers Joining PlayStation Studios, Bungie Appears To Have Many Ideas For Developing The Network Shooter Destiny 2

Bungie, the creator of Destiny 2, has announced that a fresh showcase for the game will be placed in the upcoming month. The success of The Witch Queen, the most recent addition to the ongoing multiplayer shooter, has contributed significantly to this year’s success.

Although Bungie has already provided us with a blueprint for Destiny 2’s future, it seems like we should discover much more in just over a month.

The Destiny 2 event will take place on August 23rd of next month, during which the devs will discuss what the Guardians may expect in the thrilling next chapter.

owever, it’s unknown whether the creator plans to release Lightfall this year or in 2023. During the showcase, specifics about the campaign and the release date will likely be disclosed.

It was announced earlier this month that Bungie had been acquired by PlayStation following its purchase from Sony. When Sony revealed in January that it was buying Bungie for £2.6 billion ($3.6 billion), fans began to wonder what the studio’s ongoing projects would become.

The Destiny 2 Showcase will probably discuss Season 18 in greater detail and maybe reveal our first details about Lightfall, the game’s upcoming significant update. Unfortunately, Lightfall’s details are still almost nonexistent. However, we do know that this DLC will be released sometime around 2023.

Given that we are already in the second half of 2022, it makes sense that Bungie will start bringing up Lightfall more at this event the following month. And if we’re lucky, we might even learn the date of the eagerly anticipated expansion’s release.
