Lisa Vanderpump Mourns The Loss Of Her Dog ‘Giggy’

A new report from Page Six today claimed Lisa Vanderpump is still grieving following the death of her Pomeranian dog who went by the name Giggy. This Saturday, the Vanderpump Rules alum took to her social media to confirm that her dog had died, and she and her family were heartbroken.

On her Twitter account, Lisa claimed her dog was loved by everyone in the family, so it was a tough time for them. You can check out this post from the SUR founder below:

Previously, Lisa said on her IG that Giggy was the reason why she chose to start her The Vanderpump Dog Foundation four years ago in 2016. She wanted to save as many canines as she could. Lisa said their dog was “incredible” and “unique.”

During a March 2019 interview with Bravo TV, Lisa explained how her dog had started to lose all of its hair as a result of alopecia, a common condition that can also afflict humans. Additionally, the Bravo executive, Andy Cohen, paid tribute to Lisa’s dog.

The Watch What Happens Live! host claimed Giggy was the “first dog of Bravo.” As for what led to her death, Lisa never revealed the cause, but Page Six says the little pooch just turned 10-years-old this year, which is a young age for a dog to die.

This marks another unfortunate circumstance Lisa has found herself in this year. As most know, the coronavirus pandemic has been hard on many people, including those who work in the entertainment and hospitality industries.

Coincidentally, Lisa has her hands in both, including the show she created, Vanderpump Rules, which is a program that follows her SUR restaurant. The coronavirus pandemic led to the closure of her restaurant business as well as the shutdown of her television show.

Not long before then, Lisa also endured the controversy surrounding some of her original cast members, Stassi Schroeder and Kristin Doute, who were both fired after Faith Stowers complained about them calling the cops on her amid the George Floyd protests.
