There is no doubt that Tyra Banks has a lot of experience being in front of the camera but, unfortunately, no matter what, criticism always comes along with being in the spotlight!
So, since hosting season 29 of Dancing With the Stars, the multi-talented star has been getting a lot of hate online, her hosting skills being the main target.
Last month, Tyra actually apologized for messing up her lines but she still defended herself.
In a TikTok video she shared at the time, the celeb explained that ‘Tonight I hosted the second episode of DWTS and yeah, it was not perfect. I had a lot of fun but still I messed up. I said the wrong words, but kept going.’
Now, the source tells E! News that ‘The ratings for Dancing with the Stars are up and Tyra isn’t worried about fighting to save her job. She loves doing it and the execs also love her. She tunes out all the noise and does not listen to social media critique. The same happened when she was on AGT. She knows how to handle the haters and she has her entire career! She is a pro.’
The news that Tyra would be taking over the hosting job for Dancing with the Stars was shared by ABC back in July.
They also stressed that she would take the show in a ‘new creative direction.’
