Tennessee Titans defeated Buffalo Bills in the unexpected Tuesday Night Game, handing the rivals their first loss of the season, while keeping their record perfect. In the end, the result was commanding 42-16 for the Titans.
Bills could see right away what awaits them in tonight’s matchup. Their first drive of the game concluded with an interception, while the Titans responded with a touchdown on the other side.
Until the end of the first round, the guests managed to hold on somehow, but it was obvious that they lose pace. Tennesse would deliver two scores in the second quarter, pulling away to a 21-10 lead.
The start of the second period was almost the same for Buffalo, an intercepted pass, and a TD on the other end. Josh Allen and the crew managed to reach one TD themselves, but the Titans went on from there to demolish the opponents, dominating the field for two more scores and the final result – 42-16.
Ryan Tannehill had 195 yards thrown, 21-of-28 for three touchdowns without a sack or an interception. He patiently and rationally organized the offense, hurting the Bills from various weapons. Derrick Henry didn’t have stats as usual, but has rushed for two scores, generating 57 yards on the ground on 19 carries. Henry had one spectacular stiff arm on Josh Norman once he blew away the rivals’ CB.
AJ Brown had seven receptions for 82 yards, and a TD, Jonnu Smith 40 in 5 catches for two TDs.
On the other side, Allen threw for 263 yards and two passes and interceptions each, adding 18 rushing yards. Stefon Diggs caught the football 10 times for 106 yards, Gabriel Davis added 58, and Cole Beasley 53. TJ Yeldon and Isaiah Mckenzie were the ones who scored TDs for the Bills.
The @Titans improved to 4-0 with their 42-16 win over the Bills.

The team from Buffalo missed two very important pieces in the defense – CB Tre’Davious White and LB Matt Milano, and that had a huge negative impact on their performance and the final result.
Buffalo (4-1) has a tough game coming up, against the Kansas City Chiefs, who also lost in Week 5. After that, the Bills go to New York to face the sorry Jets.
On the other side, the Titans are 4-0, and it seems that the pause they had didn’t hurt their form at all. Tennessee will stay home for the next two matches, the first one being against the Houston Texans and after that against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
