The week began with rumors swirling that Teddi Mellencamp would be given the axe by Bravo for being too boring and stale. John Mellencamp’s daughter took to Instagram to break the news and admit that it was not mutual.
Teddi has become one of the least popular cast members of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because she has been on for three seasons and the only real storyline she’s had was the takedown of Lisa Vanderpump.
This season, she was deemed a mean girl when she teamed up with Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna to bring rumors to the table that claimed Brandi Glanville and Denise Richards slept together.
Although they were seemingly successful in getting Denise off of the show, Mellencamp ended up getting herself the boot.

She took to her Instagram page to say: ‘I don’t want to bore you, but I figured I could give you a little update on what’s going on. I recently found out that my contract as a housewife is not being renewed. Of course I could give you the standard response of: ‘Oh we both came to the decision that it would be best.’ I’m not going to do that, that’s not who I am. It feels like a breakup almost because you develop such strong relationships with the cast, with the crew, and you get to do incredible things that you probably never get to experience without the show. That being said, I’m really looking forward to the future and being able to focus on my family, my friends, All In.’
She ended her speech by saying: ‘I really feel like I have some exciting things ahead. Thanks for coming along on this journey with me and I’ll see you soon.’
