Publisher Team17 and developer Ghost Town Games have announced the release date of Overcooked! All You Can Eat on PlayStation 5. Xbox Series X and S owners won’t have to wait long, as the game will launch on the platform before the end of the year.
Team17 made the announcement on its website and a brand new release date trailer. The publisher also revealed a new kitchen adventure called “The Peckish Rises.”
The Peckish Rises adds seven brand new kitchens and three chefs. They include the Axolotl Chef, Undread Chef, and the Everpeckish Chef. Screenshots of the new characters are on the official news post. Team17 revealed some of the new levels as well, including fire-filled levels using cannons to quickly pass food and chopping ingredients with guillotines.
Overcooked! All You Can Eat contains every piece of content from Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 in one complete edition. The developer has also added more content to give players more ways to enjoy the game. The content has been remastered and will come in 60 FPS with 4K.
Update: Red Dead Redemption Fixes Crash Issues Just Before It’s Steam Launch This Week
Overcooked! All You Can Eat contains new levels, new chefs, and additional skins for all chefs. This new content is exclusive to the complete edition.
Levels from the first game will be available with online multiplayer support for the first time. Every kitchen comes with cross-play functionality, but not at launch. Cross-play will be added in a post-launch update.
Players can enjoy a new trophy and achievement set to unlock. Even if they unlocked them in the first two games, they can unlock them in Overcooked! All You Can Eat.
One of the biggest changes in Overcooked! All You Can Eat are all-new accessibility options and a new assist mode. Players who want to slow down the action can also set custom level options to make customers more patient or slow down the level timer.
Those who want to follow the development of the game, or find new multiplayer friends and enemies, can also join Team17’s official Discord channel. The developer and publisher also post news on social media.
Overcooked! All You Can Eat launches on November 12 for the PlayStation 5. The Xbox Series X and S release will come later this year.
