Splatoon 3 From Nintendo, Which Will Be Released Soon

The upcoming Nintendo Direct will center on Splatoon 3, one of Nintendo’s most anticipated games for 2022.

The corporation said on Monday that the presentation will be held on Wednesday, August 10 at 9 a.m. EDT/6 a.m. PDT and would last approximately 30 minutes. Like every Nintendo Direct, the Splatoon 3 Direct will debut as a pre-recorded video on Nintendo’s YouTube site.

The latest Nintendo Direct will be aired just over a month before the game’s scheduled September 9 launch. Nintendo may reveal new weaponry, areas, or even game types in the video, although it’s unknown exactly what they will reveal.

The paint-and-swim action that created the first Splatoon an overnight hit will return in Splatoon 3, along with enhanced editions of many of the key elements featured in Splatoon 2.

A new plot series called Return of the Mammalians and a new version of the co-op swarm mode called Salmon Run are available to players in addition to the game’s numerous gameplay modes.

The majority of the new fashion pieces in Splatoon 3 will allow users to customize their squid children before sending them into combat with other players or a horde of aquatic creatures.

The first game to receive its own special version Switch OLED model is Splatoon 3. It includes a customized dock and Joy-Con controls that all reflect the game’s graffiti-style graphics along with a spray of ink.

The left Joy-Con is dark blue fading into violet, and the right is yellow merging into green, while the dock itself is white with yellow splatter. There is a Splatoon 3-themed Nintendo Switch OLED model that will go on sale on August 26 for $359.99 if you simply cannot wait to get your eyes on Splatoon 3 in September.

Fortunately, Nintendo has you prepared. It doesn’t include the game, but it does have unique Joy-Con controllers in the game’s colors of yellow and blue, as well as Splatoon graphics covering everything but the display.
