Buki Abi, the daughter of R. Kelly, announced on her social media account this month that she suffered a miscarriage just a few weeks ago. Born Joann Kelly, Hot New Hip Hop claims the daughter of the infamous R&B singer wrote on her account this week about her traumatic experience.
She wrote, “I am heartbroken you left me so early,” after addressing her IG statement to her son. Kelly went on to describe how she has been struggling in the last year due to a number of things that have happened in her life.

Abi admitted that there have been many problems over the last year, but this latest issue was hard to believe. She says she grew especially attached to her baby in the first few months of being pregnant.
While it’s not clear what else Abi has been going through in the recent past, it’s known by most that R. Kelly, her father, has found himself in jail after being charged with very serious crimes, including human trafficking among others.

Kelly, the ex-performing artist, has been sitting in a Chicago jail ever since he was charged with abusing women and young girls in a sophisticated trafficking ring. Things began to unravel in a big way for Mr. Kelly when he was accused of egregious crimes in a piece from BuzzFeed News.
Later, it took a turn for the worse when Lifetime released a documentary, Surviving R. Kelly, a multi-part mini-series in which Kelly’s purported crimes were laid out for all to see. Not long after the docu-series came out, many of his former friends in the music industry put him on blast directly or distanced themselves from him entirely.
