Kim Kardashian got really candid about her robbery in Paris that happened back in 2018, while on David Letterman’s interview series. The reality TV star got really emotional as she recalled the whole scary situation.
It looks like Kim Kardashian is one of the special guests appearing on My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman on the new season!
The new season of the series is set to premiere on October 21 on Netflix.
In the prerecorded interview, Kim opened up about the robbery she was the target of while in Paris two years ago and even shared some new details she’s never mentioned before.
Kim recalled that there were two men who robbed her while in her hotel room, one of them holding a gun while the other actually kept reassuring her that she was going to be okay.
‘The guy kept on whispering to me, ‘You’re okay, you’re okay….if you….shhh, you’re okay.’ He could hardly speak English, but I was like, okay, is he giving me a signal? He picked me up and put me in a bathtub. And then he picked me up again and just put me on the floor and ran,’ the KUWTK star told the host.
Then, Kim also revealed she had a creepy conversation with her sister Kourtney and some friends only hours before the robbery.
‘Me and my girlfriends had lunch that day and said, ‘If you guys were robbed, what would you do? Would just give them the stuff?’ Why we had this conversation…it was so wild. I said I would say take everything. Just take everything. Nothing is important,’ she mentioned.
The mother of 4 proceeded to tell the whole story in detail, including how the robbers came into her room at 3 AM, holding a gun to the concierge’s head.
Kim admitted that she was scared they were going to also rape her since she was only in a bathrobe and thing else.
Luckily, that did not happen. Instead, they tied her up after finding her jewelry box.
‘I kept on looking at the concierge because I didn’t know who he was. I’m like, ‘What is happening? Are we going to die? Just tell them I have children, I have babies, I have a husband, I have a family. I have to get home. Tell them take anything. I’ll say I never saw them. Take everything,’’ an emotional Kim recalled the horrifying moments, adding that she kept thinking of Kourtney returning to the hotel, finding her dead body and getting traumatized forever.
