Jane Lynch Says There Was Never A Better Friend Than Naya Rivera

Naya Rivera made a lot of great friends during her time as a star on the popular series, Glee, and just one of them was Jane Lynch. Jane said to Zuri Hall from All Access this week that Naya was clocking in at “11” regarding “presence” and “passion” on screen.

Lynch said Rivera was really loyal to other people, and she often expected people to do the same thing to her in return. A person couldn’t have a better friend than Naya, and it’s one of the reasons why there are a lot of “people hurting right now,” the 40-Year-Old alum explained.

Including her talk on Naya, Jane also touched on the new series, Weakest Link, as well as her other new project, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Weakest Link will air its first episode on the 29th of September on NBC.

As it was previously reported, Naya Rivera died from drowning earlier in the year. After her official autopsy report hit the press, it was reported that her 4-year-old son, Josey, revealed her last words.

Josey told the authorities that she was yelling “help” before she drowned. A report from Hollywood Life earlier in the summertime claimed the autopsy read that it was an “accidental drowning.” Josey was later found on the boat sleeping by himself with a life vest on.

He was discovered by another boater just a few hours after his mother had drowned. In July, the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s office reported that her autopsy findings matched that of drowning, and her time of death was confirmed.

Furthermore, there is no suspicion of foul play, and no drugs or alcohol were involved either. As Lynch noted above, many of her Glee co-stars and other entertainment industry celebrities paid tribute to her on social media, including the Detroit 2 rapper, Big Sean.

Naya Rivera dated the rapper for several years before she moved on to Ryan Dorsey, however, their relationship was in the headlines a number of times for domestic violence.
