This latest news will upset a lot of people who were waiting for justice for George Floyd. It’s been just revealed that one of the officers who were responsible for the death of George Floyd. Derek Chauvin, the man who kneeled on Floyd, has been just released from prison.

TSR notes that the officer has been released from prison in Oak Park Heights.
They quote info from Fox9 and reveal ‘that a Minnesota Department of Corrections spokesperson confirmed Chauvin is no longer in custody, and records show that he posted a $1 million bond.’
You probably recall that Chauvin has been jailed since May as he awaited his trial for the death of George Floyd. The man was charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.
‘The legal teams for all of the officers that were involved in George Floyd’s death have filed motions to have the trial moved out of Hennepin County to any other surrounding counties,’ TSR notes.
TSR continues and reveals that ‘They argue that the jury within Hennepin County has already been influenced by the media coverage surrounding the murder of George Floyd.’
