As it turns out, Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi’s marriage has come to an end after no less than 21 years together! That’s right, after more than two decades as husband and wife, the couple is getting a divorce and ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star shared a statement about it via E! News!
Erika Jayne told the news outlet that: ‘After much consideration, I’ve decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi. This isn’t a step taken lightly or easily. I’ve great love and respect for Tom and our years and the lives that we built together,’ confirming their separation.

She went on to ask fans and everyone else stumbling upon the announcement to grant her privacy request amid this difficult time in their lives.
As per her memoir, titled Pretty Mess, Erika and Tom met each other back in 1999 while she was serving cocktails at Chasen’s in West Hollywood.
They bonded quickly and only 6 months after starting to date, they went on to tie the knot.
Over the years, Erika has dealt with many questions about their 33 years age gap.
Even back in April, she mentioned during a RHOBH confessional: ‘The younger woman that marries the wealthier, older man. I am tired of having to justify my 20 year marriage. Go get a 20 year marriage and then come f***ing talk to me.’
Not only that but, back in 2017, she also talked about not having a prenup.
At the time, she shared with Andy Cohen on his talk show that: ‘Let me tell you something, let me be really clear. I am married to a powerful lawyer. A prenup would not stand in his way anyway… It is going to be all Tom’s way, I assure you. He will rip that piece of paper to shreds in 2 seconds!’
