Coachella Might Be Postponed Again Amid The COVID-19 Pandemic

Hot New Hip Hop said today that Coachella was postponed yet again. The event was supposed to start in April of 2020, however, it was rescheduled on account of the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately for fans, the Coachella Music Festival 2020 was pushed to the following year after they had announced a stellar lineup.

Some of the artists scheduled to perform include the likes of Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion, and more. It was supposed to return in October 2020, however, it was pushed back once again until April 2021.

Some insiders claim this could just be the beginning. There is a distinct possibility the festival will be postponed yet again. Mark Scott, the city manager of Indio, California, which is where the festival normally takes place, claims they still don’t know anything about when it will start up again.

Scott claims Goldenvoice, the company that handles Coachella, is determined to deliver quality performances and experiences. Simply put, they want the festival attendees to feel safe and enjoy themselves as much as possible.

As most know, this wouldn’t be the first time that a festival or an entertainment event was postponed this year. In fact, just yesterday, Daniel Craig appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon where he addressed the postponement of his final James Bond film, No Time To Die.

Daniel said to the late-night host that it wasn’t the right time for his final 007 project to come out. 2020 has obviously been a turbulent year, including the coronavirus pandemic as well as the Black Lives Matter protests that tore through the United States.

Additionally, there is a presidential election coming up in November, in which Trump will face off against Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential candidate.

Many celebrities, entertainers, journalists, and more, have stated this upcoming election might just be one of the most important elections in the history of the United States. While Daniel Craig never stated it directly, social media users suggested this year was simply not a good time for the next James Bond movie to come out.
