Marvel Studios EVP Victoria Alonso stressed via Argentinian news outlet Clarin that Chadwick is irreplaceable!
‘There is only one Chadwick and he is not with us. Our king’s died in real life, not only in fiction, and we are taking time to see how we continue the story and what we can do to honor this chapter of what’s happened to us that was unexpected, painful, terrible, really. Because Chadwick was not only a wonderful human being every day for the 5 years we spent together, but it also seems that what he did as the character elevated us as a company, and left his mark in history,’ Alonso shared in Spanish with the publication.
She went on to add that ‘I know sometimes 2 months go by or 3 months go by in production and you say, it was a long time. But it’s not a long time, we have to think carefully about what we’re going to do, and how, and think about how we’re going to honor the franchise.’
