Cardi B is being slammed for hosting a potential, Coronavirus super spreader Thanksgiving dinner after revealing on her official Twitter account that she hosted 37 people at her home. There is no question that there are mixed messages between the scientific community and the Donald Trump administration regarding safety, how Coronavirus spreads, and whether people can safely celebrate the holidays in large groups.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is the leading expert in infectious diseases, along with the CDC has recommended people limit their holiday gatherings to members of their own, immediate household. President Trump, on the other hand, encouraged people to gather in their homes with family members as well as at houses of worship in his Thanksgiving proclamation.
Cardi B isn’t the first celebrity to come under fire for gathering in large groups with friends and family members. Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian were recently slammed for their birthday celebrations. Like Kim and Kendall, Cardi B revealed that she paid for Coronavirus testing for everyone who was in attendance.
That didn’t matter to her haters who continued with their attacks. You may see Cardi B’s tweet that started the backlash below.
