Blizzard’s latest World of Warcraft expansion, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, is still on its way. To keep the fanbase tided over until the November 23rd release, the developers have dropped the Scourge Invasion prepatch event.
This event is bringing a sizeable bit of content for players to go through, including a short questline. Completing the questline will inevitably lead players to Icecrown, where the Scourge are becoming more and more active by the day.

The bulk of the event thus far is farming, but there’s quite a bit to be looking for! Spawn rates of normal mobs are incredibly swift, so players are able to stack up their Scourgestones – as well as world drops and good old gold drops – rather swiftly.
But there are a few drops that players are looking out for more than others. Each boss has a chance to drop an epic item scaled up to 110 to help power up characters that didn’t end the last expansion outfitted in the strongest gear.

If you already have all the gear that you wanted to grab, though, there’s still plenty of reason to be out there farming up as much as you can. Some exclusives are around, but there are also some old items that have increased or renewed drop rates.
WoW gold farmers have discovered that the Battered Hilt, used for the Quel'Delar weapons, now drops in Icecrown including pre-patch rares and regular mobs in the zone! #Shadowlands #Warcraft https://t.co/QqGl7mVRRI pic.twitter.com/NP1mOumQ78

Recently, we discussed the addition of the Battered Hilt, a Horde-only item that begins a quest to unlock a Quel’Danar weapon, useful for transmogging purposes. Gold farmers are searching for these as much as possible, as they drop off of all mobs in Icecrown.
Bronjahm, one of twenty killable rare boss mobs, has a chance to drop a 34-slot bag called Papa’s Mint Condition Bag. This item is a direct reference to the drop the boss had back in Wrath of the Lich King, a 20-slot bag called Papa’s New Bag.
This 34-slot bag is the largest bag in the game, tied with Madman’s Luggage which costs 500,000 gold from a vendor in Dalaran. Papa’s Mint Condition Bag is also unique, so once you get it on one character, you can switch to another instead of trying for it again.
Skadi the Ruthless is another of the twenty bosses brought back from the dead, and he still has a chance to drop his Blue Proto-Drake! Often farmed for this, the increased chance to grab this rare mount off of Skadi has a lot of players camping out just for him.

There are plenty of other drops and exclusive collectibles to grab from the event, which will be ending just before the expansion drops on the 23rd. If you want to grab any of these items, get out there while you still have a chance!
