Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella’s baby boy is still far from learning how to speak and yet, his parents are already trying to teach him how to say a couple of things! Obviously, you’d think that the first words Nikki and Artem would want to hear Matteo say is ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ but that is not the case!
During a post-DWTS interview with some reporters, including some for HollywoodLife, the dace professional revealed the adorable phrase he and Nikki have been teaching their baby boy.
‘We decided not to teach him ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ as his first word because we’re so competitive with each other. Nicole’s like, why don’t we teach him ‘I love you.’ I’m not kidding to you, he’s obviously not saying it in words, but [there’s the] intonation of him saying that after we say ‘I love you.’ But he is the most adorable thing ever. Nicole will probably hate me for revealing this, but I’m so happy that I’m like… You know what? It is what it is,’ Artem dished.
That’s so cute! And it’s great to hear that even though he is so young, he is already almost saying that very important phrase!
As for Artem, it sounds like he’s been doing a great job juggling his Dancing with the Stars appearances and fatherhood.

He also gushed over how much support he’s been getting from his fiancée as he continues to compete on the show with his dance partner, Kaitlyn Bristowe.
He raved that ‘Nicole is being a real trooper. I mean, literally during the nighttime, obviously, she breastfeeds him. She doesn’t have the bottle during the night. She’s like, well, what are you gonna do? Stand next to me and watch him feed? She’s like, just sleep. I know you have a tough day. I just can’t thank her enough for doing that, honestly. She’s been giving me time to sleep even though, again, it’s not really a long time to sleep. But it’s still, I have to say, she does make it easy on me for sure.’
