The Situation and his wife, Lauren Pesce, were super excited to share the sex of their baby with the world following their holiday-themed gender reveal party! It turns out that Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and Lauren are going to have a baby boy!
The pics were taken by Mike’s brother, Anthony, and show the couple standing beside a stunning Christmas tree.
Then, the couple proceeded to pull a lever, which would then light up the tree, either pink or blue!
And so, the lights were blue so it’s official – they’re having a son!
The dad to be posted a series of pics that captured that special moment and in the caption, he wrote: ‘Gym Tan We’re having a Baby Boy.’
As fans know, this is a Jersey Shore reference, more precisely, Mike’s mantra when he was living on the shore, with just a slight, but very important modification to it.
The original was, of course, ‘Gym, Tan, Laundry!’ and his followers really loved the clever and funny reference.
It’s safe to say that the parents to be are super excited about their new addition to the family and are having fun in the meantime.

That being said, they have already created a Baby Sorrentino Instagram account even though he’s not even here yet!
Alongside a few adorable pics from the gender reveal, the expectant mom and dad wrote the most adorable caption from the unborn baby’s point of view!
It reads: ‘IT’S OFFICIAL – I’M A BABY BOY. My parents were waiting to see if they could host my first party for the reveal but because of the C word, they decided to be safe, most especially for me and host it virtually. Please share all your baby boy advice and favorite places to shop for cute baby clothes as my Mama cannot wait to shop for me! Mama and Daddy are thrilled and Mama is about to start full on nursery planning! See you guys next week.’
