Dax Shepard confessed that he’s scared of making any mistakes when it comes to raising his daughters while chatting with none other than Hillary Clinton on his Armchair Expert podcast. Thankfully, she had some great advice to give the actor!
As you might remember, back in 2016, during her concession speech, Hillary Clinton addressed the young girls watching, telling them to ‘never doubt that you are valuable, powerful and deserving of every opportunity in the world.’

It appears that the speech deeply moved Dax Shepard since he’s a girl dad and he made sure to ask Hillary for some advice as far as raising 7-year-old Lincoln and 5-year-old Delta is concerned.
After all, he would want nothing more than for them grow up knowing that they have value and are powerful.

Hillary Clinton stopped by his Armchair Expert podcast earlier today and the two talked about just that – empowering young women – and the man admitted his biggest fear is making major mistakes in raising them.
‘I selfishly and egomaniacally looked forward to raising children, because I wanted to give them the tools that I felt like I had so desperately needed as a kid. You had to have had similar feelings, ‘I’m going to have this girl and now I’m going to be able to give her the support and the education that I would have just thrived on.’ I wonder what fruit did that bear and then what mistakes were implicit in that? Because I fear that I’m on the verge of making them,’ the actor told Hillary, who is mom to adult child, Chelsea Clinton, 40.
But she made sure to remind Dax that he’s not alone and that many parents out there feel exactly like him.
‘You want to try to be aware enough, so that you don’t make what you think were mistakes made with you. We all do it, though. There’s no escaping from it. We are the products of our own parents’ efforts to raise us. The combination of you and their mom [Kristen Bell] brings different experiences and aspirations for them and kind of together it all works,’ Hillary told Dax.
