A report from Page Six claimed today that the rapper, Tyga, who was formerly in a relationship with social media’s biggest influencer, Kylie Jenner, has managed to find himself the target of a new lawsuit regarding unpaid rent.
The outlet claims the rapper has been sued for $200,000 by a former landlord for failing to pay his rent, and also for damaging the home he had lived in for approximately one year.
In documents obtained by TMZ, the landlord claimed that the 30-year-old rapper owed $32,000 in rent, $43,500 for the flooring, and another $103,000 for ruined wallpaper and destroyed murals. Additionally, the landlord says Tyga installed a basketball hoop in the driveway and changed the locks to the house without their permission.
The landlord said in the court documents that he had tried to settle the dispute through “mediation” in May of this year, but Tyga refused to talk. He has now been sued for breach of contract, and the landlord wants $200,000 in damages approximately.

Tyga has become famous in recent years, not for his rap career or his relationship with Kylie Jenner, but for his unpaid rent and various legal battles. For instance, back in 2016, the performing artist was sued by a number of landlords for failing to pay rent and also for breaching contracts.
Additionally, the jeweler, Jason Arasheben, sued him for $200,000 for a gold watch and necklace that Tyga refused to pay for. Page Six also claimed the repossession man once came for his Ferrari while he was out looking for a Bentley with Kylie.
Tyga never officially responded to the report from Page Six, however, the rapper did upload an Instagram post in which he addressed some of the headlines. In the post, Tyga can be seen laying in a circle with a number of women.
He captioned the post with a message saying how he was “homeless” and had no choice but to sleep outside. Clearly, the post was meant to fight back against reports of his legal and financial problems.
