Rapper T.I. is back with a new album, his 11th, and he has turned it into a real family affair. His son, Domani, who is 19 years old, appears on the song, “Family Connect,” which was produced by his other son, Messiah, 20.
The oldest son of the Atlanta-born rapper also produced another track for his dad, who is trying to keep his spot in the ever-changing music industry.
However, the family collaboration that grabbed the most headlines is the one featuring T.I.’s 19-year-old daughter, Deyjah Harris.
Fans were really interested in hearing what the young woman had to say after her father put her private life in the media.
T.I. said that he used to take her to the gynecologist every year to check her virginity.“Deyjah’s Conclusion” is pretty solid and full of surprises.
Here is what T.I. had to say about the song: “Deyjah ain’t really one for the spotlight. But I said, ‘I got a spot for a song. Do you want to speak on behalf of the women of your generation?’ I didn’t expect her to do it, and she was like, ‘I got something to say.’ The things that she had to say were so powerful.”
When it comes to the backslah linked to Hymengate, he explained: “First of all, you recognize the things that you haven’t lost, starting with your life. And then usually after being in it for a certain period of time, you usually see that, ‘Well, this ain’t as bad as I thought it was.’ So it’s kinda like, allow yourself to be positive enough to allow stuff to work out in your favor.”
