Despite the fact that NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey put an end to their beef earlier this year, NeNe was still not one of the guests at the latter’s wedding on October 10! Regardless, one insider report claims to know that the two ladies had a chat only hours before the nuptials took place!
Fans of the Real Housewives of Atlanta know that Cynthia Bailey‘s wedding was attended by both current and former co-stars.
Still, NeNe Leakes was not there even though she was apparently invited to Cynthia’s special day.
At this point in time, it’s not a secret that Leakes is feuding with Bravo following her exit from RHOA but it sounds like her relationship with Cynthia is doing rather well.
The insider shared via HollywoodLife that ‘Nene reached out to Cynthia a few hours before her wedding and texted her. She told her that she wanted to hear it from her that she was in Atlanta and not attending her wedding. The two exchanged a couple of texts. Nene told her she was very happy for her and wished her and Mike a lifetime of love and happiness.’
Those who have been keeping up with the popular series know that the ladies have had a pretty tumultuous friendship since the very beginning in 2009.
But after their feud escalated at the season 11 reunion last year, they stopped talking to each other.
The reason why their relationship got so bad was that NeNe accused Cynthia of intentionally leaving out the fact that her nemesis, Kenya Moore, was also coming to an event of Cynthia’s, just to create drama.
Cynthia, however, insisted that she had no idea Kenya would decide, last minute, that she did want to attend, after previously declining the invitation.
Regardless, NeNe still did not believe Cynthia but eventually, during season 12, the ladies finally managed to end their feud, on camera.
