Figueiredo (20-1-1, 9-1-1 UFC) and Moreno (18-5-2, 6-2-2 UFC) brought a superb fight. It really justified its status of a headliner and the title bout. The champion kept his belt following a majority draw, in which two of the judges scored 47-47, and one gave him an edge, 48-46.

The challenger wouldn’t back down for one second here, and he was the first fighter after a long time to stop the ferocious attacks of God of War. Furthermore, he had the majority of the stats better than the champion, 256-248 in total strikes, 248-238 in significant strikes, 4-2 in takedowns, was in control 1:18 minutes compared to Figueiredo’s 55 seconds.
It was a pleasure to watch this contest, and there is no doubt that UFC will think very seriously about booking the rematch, as soon as possible.
In the co-main event of the night, Charles Oliveira (30-8 MMA, 18-8 UFC) posted his biggest win in his career, beating El Cucuy, Tony Ferguson (25-5 MMA, 15-3 UFC), via unanimous decision. The crucial moment of the match was the end of the first round, once Oliveira went for an armbar. As he pressured Ferguson’s arm, the former interim champion wouldn’t tap out, but instead waited for the round to end, saving his skin at that point.
However, he was heavily damaged, and until the end of the contest, completely inferior because of it. Oliveira punished El Cucuy constantly, inflicting the veteran a severe beating, his second in a row.
Kevin Holland (21-5, 8-2 UFC) recorded a first-round KO against the 41-year old Jacare Souza (26-9, 9-6 UFC), Getting back on track following several pretty hard months for this fella.

Souza brought his rival to the ground, where he is the strongest, but Holland managed to release his right hand and deliver a massive blow to the rival’s head, which would solve this fight.
Mackenzie Dern (10-1, 5-1 UFC) had a lot of trouble against Virna Jandiroba (16-2, 2-2 UFC), yet she would win via unanimous decision. For some, the result could have gone the other way as well, as two ladies had one hell of a clash. Jandiroba broke Dern’s nose, but the American came back in the last round.
And finally, Ciryl Gane (7-0, 4-0 UFC) kept his record perfect following a second-round TKO against Junior dos Santos (21-9, 15-8 UFC), indicating that he should be introduced to the top of the heavyweight division.
