TMZ reported today that there are a lot of rumors surrounding the death of Tommy Lister, the notorious “villain” actor who almost always appeared on-screen as a villain or as an authority figure of some kind.
The outlet reported this weekend that Mr. Lister had actually fought COVID-19 once before in the past, so if he did die from it, it would mark the second time that he contracted it after recovering from it once already.
Cindy Cowan said to the outlet that Mr. Lister had tested positive for the virus around 4 months ago, and he had many of the most common signs, including difficulty breathing, lethargy, and more. Cowan also explained how his diabetic condition made him particularly susceptible to COVID-19.
According to Cowan, Lister was never put into the hospital, but he did spend a lot of his time at his home under quarantine. On the 3rd of December, Cindy explained, Tommy was supposed to come by her home, but he called her up and said he was starting to feel symptoms of COVID-19 yet again.
Cindy went on to say that Tommy had told her it was in her best decision to stay away from him at least until he figured out whether he had caught it yet again.
As it was previously reported by TMZ, Tommy died last week. The star was checked on by the LA County Sheriff’s Department, and they discovered his deceased body, and friends had reported their concerns over the actor because no one had heard from him in at least several days.
Reportedly, Tommy had been feeling under the weather, and he had to cancel part of his filming schedule that he had with Sam Worthington. Moreover, he had to cancel another Zoom meeting on Tuesday. Cowan says Tommy had told her he wanted to be one of the first people to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
As fans of the actor know, Tommy has appeared in cult films like The Fifth Element, starring Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich, Gary Oldman, and Chris Tucker, among others. He portrayed the president of the galaxy.
