FKA twigs shocked fans when she filed a lawsuit against actor Shia LaBeouf and alleged that he had sexually assaulted, abused, and left her in emotional terror during their near one-year relationship. FKA, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, filed the suit in Los Angeles on the grounds of sexual battery, battery, gross negligence, assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The couple’s relationship ended in May 2019, but FKA says she is still suffering from the aftermath of Shia’s behavior.
Included in the lawsuit that you may read below, are FKA’s allegations that Shia infected her with an STD and hid it from her by covering it up with makeup.

In addition to alleging that Shia LaBeouf slammed her against a car and strangled her, she went into detail about contracting a serious illness — an STD that FKA twigs alleged he not only infected her with but infected other women as well.
The lawusit against Shia LaBeouf states the following.

Beginning in and around March 2019, Tahliah began to experience unusual and painful physical symptoms. Shortly thereafter, Tahliah confronted LaBeouf about her symptoms and he admitted that he suffered from a sexually transmitted disease which had been diagnosed years earlier. LaBeouf admitted that he had never told Tahliah about his condition before, even though they had been sexually intimate for many months. Further, LaBeouf admitted that he had experienced a flareup of his disease’s symptoms in December 2019, but worked to hide his outward symptoms from Tahliah by applying makeup.
Despite experiencing a flareup of his symptoms, LaBeouf continued to engage in sexual relations with Tahliah, further exposing her to his disease. Shocked and horrified by this revelation, Tahliah consulted with her physician who performed blood work, and confirmed that Tahliah had been infected with LaBeouf’s disease.

Addiitonally, FKA twigs alleged that she wasn’t the first or only person who contracted the same STD from Shia or that his covering up the symptoms with makeup was a one-time incident.

Since FKA twigs has taken her story public and has spoken about it on her official Twitter account, other people are weighing in. Fellow singer Sia tweeted her support for FKA twigs and publicly shared her own allegations against Shia.
