Shia LaBeouf Faces New Charges For Petty Theft And More – His First Charges Since 2017

Even though Shia LaBeouf has largely cleaned up his act, the actor is still finding himself in trouble. Page Six reported today that Mr. LaBeouf was charged with two misdemeanors in September related to something that happened during the summer months.

The 34-year-old actor reportedly got into a fight which led to him stealing a man’s hat. On the 24th of September, Shia was charged with petty theft and battery after police investigated the dispute and discovered he was the aggressor in the situation.

Fans of Shia know he hasn’t been in trouble with the authorities since 2017 when the cops arrested him for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and obstruction of justice while he was in the middle of filming Peanut Butter Falcon.

Later, Shia apologized for his behavior and also thanked the arresting officer who took him in. In other news, the actor has been in the headlines for his apparent relationship with his ex-wife, Mia Goth.

Earlier this year, fans began speculating that the actor and Mia were back together again after they were spotted hanging out in Pasadena California, more importantly, the actor was photographed wearing his wedding band.

TMZ took pictures of the actor and his ex-wife kissing each other and having a great time amid California’s quarantine lockdown. Reportedly, what really sparked rumors were not only the fact Shia was wearing his wedding ring, but she was as well.

In February of this year, while at the Academy Awards, LaBeouf wore the wedding ring once again but neither party has confirmed if they’re dating again or not. Fans of the couple know they first met in 2012 while filming Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac: Vol II. The film was critically acclaimed. Around two years later, Shia worked on a music video in which Goth starred.

For approximately four years, Goth and Shia dated intermittently until they tied the knot in October 2016. Fans watched the couple get married in a Las Vegas ceremony that was live-streamed for all to see.
