Robin Thicke took to social media to pay tribute to his father, Alan Thicke on the fourth anniversary of his death! The singer shared a heartfelt message via his IG Stories, telling the world just how much love he has for him!
Since Robin and his wife, April Love Geary also just became parents of three, their new baby being born only a couple of days ago, he shared a super cute pic of him with the bundle of joy.
The father and son, by the name of Luca Patrick, can be seen looking super peaceful, both fast asleep.
In the caption, however, Robin made sure to remember his own father who died on December 13, 2016 – exactly 4 years ago!
‘Four years ago today, December 13, 2016, my beloved Father passed away. As I wake up next to this guy on his first night home, I miss my father so much, but I still feel his love in my heart every single time I kiss my own babies on the head the same way that he would kiss me,’ his heartwarming message reads.
He went on to also note that, while writing the tribute, he was also ‘crying a little.’
After all, he was reflecting on his strong bond with his late father and also missing him a lot so it makes sense that he got a bit emotional.

He explained that the tears were ‘Partly because I’m sad you are not here, but mostly because I am happy that I had you to love me, guide me, and show me the way. I hope I make you proud. I miss you every day. Thank you Dad.’
Alan Thicke was 69 years old when he died of a heart attack while playing hockey with his youngest son named Carter.
