RHOP: Monique Samuels Says She Wish She Would Have Walked Away From Candiace Dillard Before Fight

Real Housewives of Potomac had an episode for the books Sunday night when the long-awaited fight between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard went down. Monique not only took a lot of heat for putting her hands on Candiace but she was also called out by critics for showing no remorse.

During the show, the women were at a winery when the two got into a heated argument. Monique pulled Candiace’s head down and punched her while having to be pulled off of her frenemy by production.

After they separate the two, Monique runs back to try to engage again but by that time — Candiace was already being rushed away from the scene.

The rest of the show, Monique doesn’t seem to regret what happened.

She also took to Twitter where she was live-tweeting along and ended up giving a blanket statement about the moment that was out of character for her.

‘The blessing of experiencing lows means there’s no where to go but UP! Keep watching to see the entire journey. I’m grateful for my ups and my downs because they help me grow. I’ll continue to look for the positives wrapped within the negatives and move forward #RHOP.’

As previously reported, this fight changed the dynamic of the group. It also made Monique consider quitting the show because she was being shunned by some of the other women.

Recently, Samuels spoke with Daily Dish where she reveals that she does have regrets about how everything went down.

‘One action led to the next. I was in no way, shape, or form anticipating that in that moment this is gonna turn physical. I just want the fans to know that this wasn’t something that was premeditated; this was something that was based off of energy being returned. And it just turned into something just very ugly. I just wish that none of it ever happened. I wish that when I felt triggered I was aware enough of myself to just walk away.’
