Pregnant Emma Roberts celebrated the impending arrival of her baby boy with a “magical garden” baby shower in L.A. on Saturday, October 3.
“So grateful to my family and pod for making my pregnancy feel so celebrated during such wild times. I love you guys @cadehudson22 @kakeykake @britelkin and thank you to @toryburch & @ericbuterbaugh for the magical garden,” the mom-to-be, 29, captioned two photos that showed her wearing a long, floral-print Tory Burch dress at the celebration.
“You are the most beautiful!” new mom and Roberts’ former Scream Queens costar Lea Michele commented on the pics, while Ashley Tisdale, who’s also pregnant, wrote that her pal is a “Beauty.” Evan Ross, who’s expecting his second child with wife Ashlee Simpson, wrote, “Excited for you both!!!!!!!!.”
E! News reports that guests at the chic shower included Roberts’ boyfriend and father-to-be, Garrett Hedlund, friends Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend, Dylan Meyer, and Never Goin’ Back actress Camila Morrone.
The casual outdoor celebration featured pink, yellow and white roses hung from trees, cookies decorated with edible flowers and a floral bouquet in the shape of a vagina made out of pink and red roses.
Us Weekly broke the news in June that Roberts and Hedlund, 35, are expecting their first child. The American Horror Story star and the Friday Night Lights alum were first linked in March 2019, shortly after Roberts ended her engagement to on-off fiancé Evan Peters.
A source told Us in July that the soon-to-be parents were “surprised, shocked and happy at the same time,” about their baby news, “and so are their families.”
Roberts confirmed her pregnancy in August and revealed the sex of her baby — a boy — when she shared photos on Instagram showing her cradling her baby bump alongside Hedlund. “Me…and my two favorite guys,” she captioned the pics. Her aunt Julia Roberts commented on the post, writing, “Love you.”
While the couple know their baby’s gender, a source told Us in July that “they haven’t picked out any names yet.”
