Olivia Jade opened up about her parents being in jail due to their involvement in the Varsity Blues college entrance fraud case and she revealed that she hasn’t talked to them once since they self-surrendered. This, according to the YouTuber, has been pretty difficult since she is so close to her mom and dad.
This means that it’s already been five weeks since Olivia was able to have a conversation with her mom and ‘best friend,’ Lori Loughlin or with her dear dad, Mossimo Giannulli.
While on Red Table Talk, Olivia Jade told the hosts, Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Gammy, that ‘There is a quarantine phase because of COVID, so I think that is the reason, but I have not heard anything. I’m just waiting.’
In other words, it seems like the social media influencer is yet to hear from her parents while they serve their sentences.

At some point during the Red Table Talk episode, Olivia shared that ‘I am super close with my parents, especially with my mom. She is my best friend, so it has definitely been hard not being able to talk to her. But I know she is strong.’
She went on to say that the time behind bars might actually turn out to be a ‘good reflection period’ for the Full House actress, the daughter noting that she is just trying ‘to look at the positives, in a way.’
At this point in time, it is believed that Lori will most likely be released just in time for Christmas!
As for her her father, however, he will continue serving his 5 months sentence well after the holidays had ended so he won’t be home to celebrate the special day of Christmas with his family.
It sounds like all of this has been pretty painful for Olivia but she is doing well, all things considered!
