There’s a trait that many professional singers share in common and that is the ability to not only sing other divas’ songs but to impersonate their voice while doing so. Nicole Scherzinger is in great company with her vocal impressions and a video showing The Masked Singer co-host impersonating Britney Spears, Shakira, and Alanis Morissette is getting renewed attention.
As lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, Nicole’s singing talents are no surprise but many were stunned to hear how perfectly she could impersonate other singers. Both Shakira and Alanis are known for singing with their distinct vocal patterns and inflections that are the result of their accents. Shakira is Colombian and Alanis hails from Canada. When Nicole impersonated both singers, she perfectly nailed their singing patterns and vocal style.

The video comes from the television program The Real where Nicole was a guest. There were two bowls filled with nursery rhyme titles and names of famous singers. Nicole performed nursery rhymes in the vocal stylings of the selected singer.
First, she performed “Jack and Jill” in the style of Shakira, followed by “The Alphabet Song” in the style of Alanis Morissette, and she concluded the segment by performing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” as Britney Spears.
