The “Anaconda” singer kept many details about her pregnancy a secret and only publicly revealed that she was expecting her first child back in July. Though Nicki shared photos of her baby bump on her social media platforms, she never announced her due date, how far along she was, or if she was expecting a boy or a girl.
Nicki has kept the same level of secrecy surrounding the birth of her child. Though TMZ is reporting that Nicki Minaj gave birth on Wednesday (based on reports by a source close to the situation), they did not reveal the baby’s time of birth, weight, or gender. The baby’s name hasn’t been announced yet.
Though Nicki kept details about her pregnancy under wraps, she did let her fans know that she’s been ready to start a family. She spoke about retiring from music back in September 2019, but she has since put out music. But there is no doubt that Nicki is ready to put her family first and is thrilled at becoming a mother.
She hasn’t shared anything on Twitter about the birth and her last tweet was on August 6, 2020. Nicki’s last Instagram post was on August 1, 2020. At this point, it is unclear if Nicki is going to release a public birth announcement.
