Things haven’t been going so well for the Baltimore Ravens as many of their team members have contracted the coronavirus, including some of the players as well as the coaches.
Hot New Hip Hop claims the team was supposed to go up against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they had to postpone the game on account of the number of players who came down with the virus. The game was then postponed until Sunday.
However, a new report from multiple outlets has stated that the game will be pushed a full week in advance after it was revealed that Lamar Jackson had come down with the coronavirus as well. Jackson is just the latest player to contract it.
Additionally, another four players caught it today, and Jackson was just one among them. As most know, this wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity caught COVID-19. The NBA, the NFL, and other sports leagues have had multiple outbreaks since the pandemic began.
Furthermore, the Hollywood movie scene has been afflicted by the virus as well, including people like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, who were arguably the first celebs to come clean with their coronavirus contraction.
Back in March, the couple released a joint post on Instagram in which they said they had caught it while filming a movie in Australia. Not long after, many other stars came out to say they had caught it, including people like Rachel Matthews, Idris Elba, Kevin Hart, Colt Underwood, and more.
Some chose to poke fun at it, including Kevin, who said he caught it around the same time as Tom Hanks but Tom was a lot more famous than him, so he didn’t say anything. Kevin joked about it during a private stand-up set at a celebrity’s home.
While most celebs managed to beat coronavirus, Nick Cordero, the Broadway actor, was one who didn’t. Cordero died earlier this summer after a grueling battle with the virus which lasted many months. Doctors had tried to combat the illness through a number of means, including through a limp amputation, installing a pacemaker, and more.
