Last night’s Game 5 in Phoenix saw the guests from Milwaukee triumphing, 123-119, and reaching on the verge of the biggest success in the previous 50 years.
Jrue Holiday’s defense on Devin Booker, and a steal that would later result with Giannis’ fantastic alley-oop dunk on the other end, was the game-decider tonight. After that, the Greek international got and-one free throw, which he missed, but reached the ball and passed it back to Khris Middleton.

The Suns’ players sent the other All-Star player to the foul line, but even though Middleton missed one, the home team lost the match.
Middleton scored 29 points, with seven boards and five assists, while Giannis had a team-high 32 buckets with nine boards and six dimes.
Holiday who became the X-factor for wins in the past few days had a strong double-double with 27 buckets and 13 assists.
Pat Connaughton was good off the bench as usual, scoring 14 points, hitting four threes, with six boards, while Bobby Portis added nine.
The Bucks were in the hole after the opening 12 minutes, trailing 16 points, 37-21. However, a ferocious second quarter saw them rolling over the rivals, scoring 43 points and allowing just 23.
Phoenix was behind most of the time, but with 56 seconds to go, they would come down to just one point following Chris Paul’s layup, 120-119. The Suns had a chance to take the lead, but Booker’s attempt was prevented, and so was Phoenix’s comeback.
The sharpshooting guard had another fantastic game, scoring 40 points, 17-for-33, with four boards. Chris Paul added 21 with 11 assists, but these two guys had 10 turnovers combined, five each.
Deandre Ayton was much better than in Game 4, posting a double-double with 20 buckets and 10 rebounds, while Mikal Bridges scored 13 points. The Suns’ bench had 15 points, which could be the biggest reason for this failure.
