Morgan Wallen Says He Has A Plan To Make Sure He Doesn’t Get The Boot From SNL – Again

TMZ picked up on comments from Morgan Wallen this week in which the country music star explained how he intended on making sure he would make it on Saturday Night Live after getting the boot earlier in the year.

In case you missed it, Wallen was supposed to appear on NBC’s sketch-comedy series earlier in 2020 but he wound up losing out on his spot due to coronavirus restrictions. Social media footage appeared to show the country singer partying it up in Alabama.

TMZ caught up with the singer-songwriter in New York City this weekend where they asked him how he was going to be “COVID-safe” before his appearence on SNL. Morgan said to reporters from the outlet that he wasn’t going to “leave the d*mn hotel.”

TMZ claims this all comes after Morgan was booted off the program two months ago. Reportedly, Wallen was seen on social media kissing women and partying down in an Alabama bar.

This wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity was put on blast for not adhering to coronavirus restrictions, but perhaps the biggest public figure of all to receive criticism over not wearing a mask was Donald Trump, the current president of the United States.

Trump has been excoriated in the press a number of times for refusing to wear a mask, although, he did wear a mask when he went to visit a hospital to see veterans. On the whole, however, most celebrities have been adamant about voicing their support of coronavirus restrictions.

For instance, Miley Cyrus appeared on The Howard Stern Show this week where she explained how she had skipped out on living her normal sex life. The pop star said to the host that she has been participating in a lot of “Facetime Sex.”

Miley said she was just doing whatever she could to do her part in the coronavirus pandemic, and she didn’t want to put anyone else at risk of the virus. Some social media users were skeptical of her claims, however, arguing that most A-listers are probably going to parties behind closed doors.
