The weird interaction she had with a particular fan made Millie feel really ‘disrespected’ and she vented about it on her IG Stories.
The 16 year old recounted how she was out with her own mother, when one girl recognized her.
‘She said, ‘Can I take a video of you?’ I said, ‘Um, no.’ But why would anybody want to be taken a video of? Of me? It is not like [it’s] of the both of us. I do not need to justify it to anyone. If I do not want to be taken a video of, I do not have to be,’ Millie told her fans in the black and white clip.

However, as she went on, it became clear that the fan would not take ‘no’ for an answer.
‘I was paying and she walked past me and began to video me again. And I said, ‘I’m a human being. Like, what more can I ask from you?’’
At this point, the teen started crying, telling viewers through her tears that ‘She said ‘So I can’t take a video of a human being?’ And I said, ‘No, not when I said no.’ It just makes me so upset when people try and push the boundary, and I just wish people were more respectful. I’m still trying to navigate this all and it’s still overwhelming… Where are my rights to say no? You have to show more respect for others, no matter who they are, what they do. It’s just manners.’
Many are speculating that this encounter in particular caused the actress to delete her TikTok account.
Later on, Millie came back to her platform to assure her fans that she was doing much better. As she went on to explain, she just got emotional talking about it since she felt really disrespected and uncomfortable.
