N7 Day is the annual Mass Effect fan appreciation day. It takes place on November 7 every year, and is an homage to Commander Shepard’s vocational code in the Systems Alliance military.
BioWare marks N7 Day every year with some kind of special announcement or post. Some years it’s a trailer for a future game or a major announcement. Other years it’s some concept art shared on Twitter.

This year, however, might be one of the biggest N7 Days ever.
Mark Meer, the voice of the male version of Commander Shepard announced that he will be a part of a huge N7 Day event on November 7 at 11 a.m. PST, along with many of his castmates.

Confirmed to be in attendance alongside Meer will be Jennifer Hale (Female Commander Shepard), Raphael Sbarge (Kaiden Alenko, Ali Hilis (Dr. Liara Tsoni), Steven Blum (Urdnot Grunt), Courtenay Taylor (Jack), Alix Wilton Regan (Specialist Samantha Traynor), D.C. Douglas (Legion), Kimberly Brooks (Gunnery Chief Ashley Williams), and William Salyers (Dr. Mordin Solus in Mass Effect 3).
It will be conducted via livestream, but no link has been provided as of yet. Meer said that we should all stay tuned for the link.
Of course, it’s possible that this will just be an event where everyone will sit around and reminisce, but most Mass Effect fans believe that this will be the event where we finally get confirmation that the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is coming to current generation consoles sometime soon.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is the rumored title for the updated re-release of the original three Mass Effect games. EA and BioWare have yet to actually confirm the existence of this game, but it is one of the worst kept secrets in the entire industry.
Not only have numerous leakers come forward about BioWare’s work on this remastered title, but a few European retailers have accidentally posted listings for it.
All of the actors announced for the livestream are from those original three games, with no one from the Mass Effect Andromeda cast joining in. This stands to reason that there will be a major announcement concerning those three games in particular.
The Mass Effect Legendary Edition would release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is also speculated, that it could release for the Nintendo Switch, which many longtime fans are hoping for. However, an industry insider recently stated that the title was not coming to Switch, so we will have to see.
