Mariah Carey’s bringing a new star-studded Christmas special to Apple TV Plus and her children Morroco and Monroe “Roc” and “Roe” have a billing credit! Mariah’s kids will be joining the likes of Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Tiffany Haddish, Billy Eichner, and more for the special and fans are thrilled. Mariah’s music has become synonymous with the holiday season and “All I Want For Christmas” is on every holiday playlist! She will perform a new version of “Oh Santa!” with Jennifer Hudson and Ariana Grande on the special that premieres exclusively on Apple Plus on December 4, 2020.
Mariah Carey released “Oh Santa!” in 2010 and the new version will also appear on a companion album (that is sure to top the charts) that will be released on the same day. Fans are thrilled for Mariah’s upcoming special and though not everyone will have access to Apple Plus (though many are expected to sign up for free trials just to watch Mariah’s special) everyone will be able to listen to her companion album.
Mariah’s children are used to the spotlight and she has included both Morroco and Monroe in her concert performances. The children have been singing professionally and the musical gift is in their blood. Both of Mariah’s parents were musical and Mariah’s own mother is an opera singer. She has passed on her gift to her children and is raising them up in the spotlight where they seem completely at ease.
It’s unclear how much presence Roc and Roe will have in Mariah’s special or if they will do any singing, but fans are excited to see Mariah in her element and are thrilled her children will be joining in.
