Mariah Carey shared the most adorable video of her daughter Monroe “Roe Roe” Cannon modeling Beyonce’s latest Adidas x Ivy Park collection. As with her previous launches, Beyonce is sending out wardrobes full of the gorgeous athletic and loungewear to friends and Mariah received her set. Monroe (who is only nine-years-old) stars in the video where she is kicked back in a wicker chair while reading her mother’s memoir “The Meaning of Mariah Carey.”
Monore has a bubbly personality and donned a pair of butterfly (of course0 sunglasses while she flipped through the book and was delighted to see baby pictures of herself in the New York Times Best Seller. She exclaimed with glee about a photo of herself with former president Barack Obama.

Suddenly, Monroe jumps up and steps into the wardrobe that has a picturesque scene of a sunset and flowers for a covering. Old Dirty Bastard starts playing in the background (from Mariah Carey’s song “Fantasy” remix) and Monroe is delighted to begin trying on the outfits.
Beyonce recently revealed that she and Jay-Z spent a good portion of the Coronavirus quarantine having fashion Fridays where the kids and parents all dressed up. Beyonce even said that part of her new collection was inspired by their fashionable bonding time and they hope to keep the practice alive.

Roe is only one year older than Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy and the two are friends, as are Beyonce and Mariah Carey. With Mariah letting Roe dress up in the Adidas x Ivy Park collection and Beyonce doing the same with her own children, it seems as if the two friends have a lot more in common than just being Grammy-winning singers. It also seems that the future is bright for both of these little girls with famous mamas!
