Lisa Vanderpump Says Restaurants Won’t Be Opening Anytime Soon – No Vanderpump Rules?

The coronavirus pandemic has been tough on a lot of people and industries this year, with the entertainment business and nightlife chief among them.

Page Six reported this week that Lisa Vanderpump, the owner of SUR restaurant – the filming location of Vanderpump Rules – has addressed the serious nature of the pandemic and how it has impacted her business.

Coincidentally, Lisa has been doubly impacted by the restrictions, because not only does she work in television, but she also works in the restaurant business, two industries that have been impacted severely in 2020.

This Tuesday, Page Six reported, Lisa took to her Twitter account to say that many restaurants in the United States of America would not be reopening once the pandemic finally ends. On the other hand, the outlet claims Vanderpump wasn’t referring to her business specifically.

Reportedly, the LA County of Public Health recently unveiled a new batch of restrictions against nightlife and restaurant establishments, mandating that restaurants would only be able to offer take-out, drive-through, and other delivery services.

According to Page Six, Vanderpump wrote on her account that many businesses have been doing their best to follow the laws, but these very same restaurants would not be reopening. She went on to urge her fans and followers to take the virus seriously and to wear their masks.

This past Sunday, it was announced by the LA government that in-person dining would no longer be allowed for the next three weeks, at the least. On Monday, the LA County officials reported an additional 6,000 cases of coronavirus.

Back in July, Vanderpump said to reporters from the Daily Mail that her one restaurant, Villa Blanca, would not be reopening at all, although, she might change locations. Fans of the television show know Vanderpump owns a few restaurants, including TomTom, SUR, and Pump.

She runs them with her co-stars, Tom Schwartz, and Tom Sandoval. This past spring, Lisa opened a new place in Las Vegas, the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden. Regarding the Bravo television series, it won’t be coming back on the air anytime soon.
