Los Angeles Rams are back in the saddle after winning a Monday Night Football encounter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 27-24.

The guests from California managed to come out as winners from a very tight contest due to their defensive effort and the hero of the match, free safety Jordan Fuller. The 199th pick from this year’s draft intercepted Tom Brady twice, with the latter one coming with 1:56 to go, in the moments when hosts went towards the Rams’ end zone.
Tampa Bay was three points behind, 27-24, but in a position to at least tie the result. Fuller recognized Brady’s intention to hit Cameron Brate, making a pick that put an end to this event.

Both sides had the lead throughout the game, but in the end, Matt Gay’s 40-yard field goal made the difference, as his three points set the final score.
Tom Brady was again beneath his usual level, having just 216 yards in 48 passing attempts (26 on target) and two touchdowns, along with the above-mentioned two picks. What presented trouble for the four-time Super Bowl MVP was the fact that his running backs were ineffective in establishing the ground game, yielding just 42 yards.
Rams’ defense forced Bray to be one dimensional, which only made things worse for the hosts. Antonio Brown had 57 yards on 8 catches, Chris Goodwin 53 and Mike Evans 49, with the latter two each posting a TD. Leonard Fournette also scored for the hosts.
Goff had much better productivity in the air, with 376 yards, 39-for-51, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Two of his receivers, Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods, had 100+ yards caught and more than 10 receptions each, becoming only the fifth pair of teammates with such numbers on MNF.
Woods had a touchdown catch, with Cam Akers and Van Jefferson adding one each.
The Rams are now 7-3, and have the edge over the Bucs when looking at the playoff picture. The team from Florida is sitting at 7-4 at the moment.
Next week the Bucs have a massive challenge as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs roll into town. A week after that, Minnesota Vikings visit Raymond James Stadium.

The Rams, too, have a colossal test in Week 12. They are traveling to Arizona to face the Cardinals, who are just one win behind them. This divisional contest could decide a lot of things not only in the NFC West but the entire conference as well.
