Kim Kardashian Drops Massive Donation In Support Of Armenia Fund

Kim Kardashian isn’t all talk. TMZ reported today that Kim and her family are donating a large sum of money for the Armenia Fund amid the nation’s territorial dispute with one of its neighboring countries. The reality star announced she was going to drop one million dollars for the fund to help people out who need it.

Today, Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim took to their respective social media accounts to address what’s currently going on in Armenia. All three reality stars revealed they had started working with the Armenia Fund. Reportedly, the purpose of the organization is to provide funds for those who have been caught in the middle of the conflict.

The Armenia Fund will pay for things like food, medical attention, and shelter, amid other resources which are currently hard for some people to get their hands on.

Every sister said they were going to donate money, but TMZ says Kim’s video was especially poignant because she announced she was going to donate $1 million of her own money to the Armenia Fund. The reality star encouraged her fans and followers to donate as much as they could.

Sources who spoke with TMZ says that all of the sisters, including Khloe, Kourtney, Kim, as well as their brother Rob, have made massive donations. Khloe, for instance, said it wasn’t hard for one to empathize with what is going on in the nation right now, especially now that she has her own child.

The Kardashian sister said being a mother has really opened her eyes to the importance of taking care of children, and she says it’s especially hard for her to think of a child who is caught up in a conflict which they haven’t facilitated nor taken a part in.

According to TMZ, Armenia is currently fighting with their neighbor, Azerbaijan, over mountainous territory. Reportedly, the conflict goes all the way back to the 1980s, but over the last few months, the tension between the two nations has arisen once again.

Back in July, there were reports that both nations were firing at each other after a long hiatus of inactivity and relative peace. Countries such as Turkey and Russia have gotten involved as well, with Azerbaijan receiving backing from the former while the latter is supporting Armenia.
