Kikkoman, the company responsible for many Asian foods, has released a custom design for the Nintendo Switch game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The custom design was released on the company’s official Twitter account.
The designs contain the Kikkoman Japanese Soy Milk logo, which is a scene of three threes and a bird flying into the sky. An orange sun is in the corner of the design. In Japan, this is a well-known illustration that makes the brand stand out.
Kikkoman has released two versions of the custom design. One of the designs has a green background while the other is on a white background. Players can either download the artwork itself to use as artwork or a t-shirt design. The Kikkoman Twitter account displayed ways to use the design, such as magazine art, pillows, and more.
With a majority of custom designs, Kikkoman has released the design codes for free. It’s part of a long line of companies releasing free custom content. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has continued to be popular with fans across the world, which makes it a great game for brands to use to connect with potential, or existing, customers.

Downloading custom designs is a simple process but does require an internet connection and an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Players will also need to have the Able Sisters clothing shop set up on their island.
After the initial requirements have been met, players should head to the design kiosk in the back of the Able Sisters shop. From there, players will need to input the design code of their choice. If their custom design list is full, players can overwrite an existing design.
Once the design is downloaded, players can show them off as artwork or wear them to show off their support for the Kikkoman brand.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has many custom designs from popular businesses. Many of the businesses releasing free content have been from Japan, but others are utilizing the game as well.
In North America, the Marc Jacobs fashion brand, presidential campaigns, and even The Weather Channel have released custom content for players to download. Across the world, some companies have gone so far as to make custom islands and then have invited their customers to visit.
However, Nintendo recently implemented new rules for businesses and organizations to protect players who just want to have fun.
