Khloe Kardashian revealed that her family will not hold their annual Christmas Card photoshoot due to the growing COVID-19 crisis. Each year, the family gets together with their children and takes one large family photo. As their families have grown, some have taken separate shoots, such as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, but this year, there will be no Christmas Card group photo. The news comes as it was also learned that Kris Jenner has canceled her customary Christmas Eve party.

COVID-19 cases have escalated in California with over 20,000 deaths throughout the state. The Kardashians aren’t strangers to the deadly virus either. Both Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian’s husband Kanye West contracted Coronavirus earlier this year. As many people failed to heed the social distancing warnings surrounding Thanksgiving and even traveled during the holiday season, experts say the nation will continue to see a surge.

There has been a rush to get new vaccines out to the public, but it’s doubtful any help will arrive in time for the Kardashians and Jenners to carry on with their original holiday plans. Though the family isn’t hosting their large party, they haven’t announced publicly if they will gather in their own homes, or if they will have a large family get-together in one of their many mansions.

Khloe Kardashian faces another change this year as Tristan Thompson recently signed with the Boston Celtics and relocated to Massachusetts just several weeks ago. It’s unclear if Tristan plans on flying back to Los Angeles for Christmas so that he may spend the holidays with Khloe and their two-year-old daughter True Thompson.

As Khloe and her family try their best to adjust to the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic brings, the family announced a new deal signed with HULU for 2021. Exactly what type of content the family will bring to the network remains to be seen, but many people are happy that they are going to create new programming.
