Clarkson told Williams that her mindset at the time was that she had no time for ‘you over the pond’ since she had more than enough people hating her in her own country to begin with!

In other words, she just couldn’t concern herself with even more body shaming, coming from international sources.

The singer also explained why she talks about such matters publicly every chance she gets.

Aside from body shaming being rude, of course, what really bothers her is that ‘Other women and little girls are looking out there and they are bigger than me and they’re going, ‘If they think she’s this way, then what does the world think of me?”

Clarkson mentioned how much this kind of words on social media can affect the psyche of women and little girls out there and how much it can crush their feelings of self-worth.

For that reason, she vowed to never stop speaking up about body shaming every time she encounters it!
