Kanye West is at it again! The rapper took to his social media app of choice to share his very first campaign ad and in it, he highlighted the importance of religion in the lives of all people, vowing to ‘revive the nation’s commitment to faith’ and more!
While the presidential election is right around the corner, Kanye West proved that he is serious about taking over the White House office with this first campaign ad.
That being said, earlier today, the famous rapper shared a PSA in which he talked about his love for the country and his perceived importance of prayer and faith, all the while the American flag was in the background.
He started by asking: ‘What is America’s destiny? What’s best for our nation, for our people? What is just and true justice?’
Ye goes on to say in part that ‘We as a people, will revive our nation’s commitment to faith, what our constitution calls, ‘the free exercise of religion’, including, of course, prayer. Through prayer, our faith can be restored. We are called to a greater purpose than ourselves. We aren’t just a beacon to the whole world, but we should also be servants to each other, encourage and help each other, lift each other up, our fellow Americans, so that we may all prosper together. We have to act on faith with the certain knowledge that we are pursuing the right goals and doing all the right things.’
He also talked about families as the ‘building blocks’ of society and mentioned making the United States stronger by ‘building stronger families.’
‘By turning to faith, we will be the kind of nation, the kind of people, God intends us to be. VOTE. WRITE IN KANYE WEST,’ he said in the conclusion of his statement.
