The results are here! It turns out that the winner pair of Dancing with the Stars season 29 is Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev!
After no less than 11 weeks of competing with other very talented and skilled pairs, the two were finally able to go home with the trophy!
Obviously, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev could not be any happier and more excited and following the finale, they chatted with ET, revealing why the victory meant so much to them.
The stars confessed that they shed some tears backstage as well!

Artem reflected: ‘I was thinking about where I was a year ago, exactly. Where I was not a part of last season, how I felt that [my] old dancing dreams were done and dusted, and that I was never going to be able to perform on that stage at all. And then just standing with Kaitlyn in the final and being called as the champion of the season? I mean, it was such a surreal moment that I never thought it would be, in the reality of this world. Yeah, it’s absolutely crazy. It made me so emotional because of that.’
As for Kaitlyn Bristowe, she had wanted to be a part of the show for years after her Bachelorette gig and she finally got a chance to appear on the dancing competition!

But, obviously, while just being on it would have been a joy in itself, winning was amazing!

‘I don’t even know how to put it into words. But to me it’s like, if you believe in something and if you have a passion or a dream … when you think of anyone who’s gotten somewhere, I guarantee they have a story about what it took to get there. So for me, it makes it all so much better that I had this dream. That it was taken away, that I still believed in it, that I worked hard for it, that I stayed true to myself through it,’ she shared.
