According to Jax Taylor, his expecting wife, Brittany Cartwright, is struggling to feel confident about the way her body looks as she continues on her pregnancy journey. Taylor stopped by the Give Them LaLa…with Randall podcast this week and touched on Brittany’s body image struggles.
The reality star says he has been trying to convince her of just how beautiful she is, but the message doesn’t always get through because of her own self-image. Taylor said to the co-hosts that she’s “beautiful” and “gorgeous,” but when she looks in the mirror, she doesn’t see herself in the same way.
Taylor went on to explain how women go through a lot of changes to their body when they’re pregnant and it’s something they’re not used to. He said women feel “very insecure,” even though they’re excited to become mothers for the first time.
Taylor said a lot of them, despite being excited about it, wonder at one point they’ll be able to get into a bikini again and feel good about themselves. Jax says it’s something he has been working on, and he loves convincing her of how pretty she is.

Taylor urged the listeners of the podcast to compliment a pregnant woman every once in a while, because they may not be feeling good about themselves because of what they’re going through.
Randall Emmett, who is also expecting a baby with LaLa, said making a compliment or two every once in a while makes a “world of difference.”
Randall said even though LaLa isn’t the type of person who is insecure, everyone has their moments sometimes. Taylor agreed with LaLa’s partner, saying how it’s not easy for famous women to be in the limelight either because everyone is always picking them apart.
As it was previously reported, Cartwright came out to say that she was the target of some mean comments on social media. In her Stories, Brittany defended herself against some of these attacks and explained how many women look different, and in their own way when they’re pregnant.
